Appliance Configuration Overview

Initial network configuration can be performed at the console or via a browser using the Network Setup Wizard. Once the wizard has been run, load balanced services can be configured using the WebUI or using the API. When using the WebUI, API calls are used in the background to configure the appliance.

This guide shows how load balanced services can be configured using the WebUI. For an introduction to configuring the appliance using API calls from Bruno, please refer to Configuring Endurance using Bruno.

By default, the WebUI is accessible on HTTPS port 443, this can be changed if required.

We recommend that where possible two appliances are deployed for high availability and resilience, this avoids introducing a single point of failure to your network. For more information, see High Availability Configuration
